Braemar Hill Hare - Any Fanny'll Do, Lost in Translation Hashers - Comes Up the Rear, Minja Turtle, Kim KardaXXXian, Lost in Translation, Sticky Sex Toy, Pole Dancer, Indyanus, Foot Fetish, Lubricated Mud, Screwtop, Hopeless, Freebee, Any Fanny'll Do Write-up - Hopeless AFWD ropes in Braemar hill expert Lost In Translation for a Braemar Hill special. The pack were briefed and sent on their way up the hill, first Check by the steps. Open Checks all night so a little ways to the steps by the Service Reservoir, solved by Screwtop. Onto the contour and a sneaky CB, Hopeless already going right to the next Check where AFCD have closed off the shiggy trail back towards the start. CUTR gets it wrong, doesn't call (quelle surpris) and follows the leaders up the steps and into the trail up the hillside. The Open Check at the top has the pack flummoxed... all over the place... Back to the contour, riverbed, and towards the 'aerials'. Then... another riverbed, where, it seems, the hares enjoyed a long soak in the rock pools while setting. Pagoda, W/R split and the Rambos enjoyed a good 2km flat loop to come back down the steps to the finish via the collapsed pathway. Trail included Boar, weirdly dressed maidens having their photograph taken, and plenty of flour to get us around. Nicely set trail by the hares, followed by a short trip down the hill to the new 'usual Tin Hau Thai' for food. Down Down's by Indy The hares - Any Fanny'll Do / Lost In Translation... Fab and fab !! Something for everybody... Rocks / streams / views... even 'witches'... ????? AFWD / LIT - were anxiously looking at their watches when runners not returned in 50 mins - 'It only took 2 hours to set, and that included a swim, a couple of beer stops etc! Where the heck are they ?' Kim KardaXXXian - last runner in... 90 mins and 9 kms... AFWD / LIT - but the trail we set was only 6 km ?? KKxxx - started late... followed markings then did own trail... caught up with Sticky Sex Toy, left her... and then continued on 'trail' / own trail!!... the best 9km ever!! AFWD / LIT - Braemar Hill is well known to them both... AFWD has done / set many runs around the environs!! And as for LIT - Lost In Space had said of her - she knows every up / every down / every corner / every trail... 'no flies on her'... LIT - second co-haring at Braemar Hill in 5 weeks... earlier haring was with family member... Lost In Space ! Screwtop - was concerned that she was on Wimps trail... when she saw 's W i m'... ?? Foot Fetish / Lubricated Mud / Freebee - thoroughly enjoyed the trail... and dancing ? Freebee - CUTR was doing a 'boar dance' when he came across a boar ?? on trail.... Pole Dancer - quipped 'there were many 'bores' on trail'...?? Minja Turtle - set his epic / unforgettable / virgin? / shiggy run up to Braemar Hill 2 weeks before... will be (fondly) talked about for years!! Statistics time ??? AFWD - started LSW hash - 22 April 1998 !! 25 years !! Legendary !!! LIT - started LSW hash - 31 July 2013 LIT / Hopeless - with all their combined run haring and 'dinging'... They must have a ginormous fridge !! Hopeless - the birthday boy !! Happy birthday from LSW... Prosecco and birthday cake to celebrate... Indy to self when asked? - 'Nope! not the infamous 'skittles' cake - but chewy marshmallow on top this time !!' Foot Fetish - baked a cake (and brought it!!) to celebrate Hopeless' birthday! Kamikaze (in absentia... like In NZ!) - has known Hopeless for decades ? But thought he was turning the big 60 this year!! So Hopeless - and how old are you ? Hopeless to Pole Dancer - unusually calling for / to Screwtop on trail... was PD lost too ? So thanks to AFWD / LIT for a 'most fab' hash and bash !!
