Run Report: Little Sai Wan Hash House Harriers - August 30th, 2023

The night was cool and the anticipation was palpable as the Little Sai Wan Hash House Harriers congregated next to the Che Kung Miu Road roundabout. Word had clearly spread about the evening's hares, Cute Boar Butt and Foot Fetish, as it was evident in the impressive turnout. The crowd was buzzing, and it seemed many were there just because of the prowess of these renowned trail-setters.

Adding to the evening's excitement were our honored visitors from Shanghai, Master Wanker and Stink Bomb. Their presence was a testament to the universal appeal of a good trail.

As the group set off, an initial check back up the crossroad footpath provided a playful start to the evening. But, true to the hares' style, the genuine trail led the pack through Che Kung Miu Road Playground. Minja Turtle's voice rang out with praises, particularly impressed by the clever twists and turns. With Hopeless leading the charge, the hashers faced another check across the park, ultimately leading them on a challenging ascent up Fu Kin Street.

Following a cautious crossing prompted by a warning sign, the group was momentarily stumped by another checkback, sending them back across the bustling road, weaving in and out of traffic. Minja Turtle, evidently thrilled by this development, complimented the markings and trail decisions vocally.

Navigating through Hin Tai Street, the pack wrapped around a housing estate and progressed on, with Minja Turtle successfully cracking another check, pushing the hashers onward up the demanding incline of Keng Hau Road. The trail finally led them to Tai Po Road and, after yet another ingenious checkback, they descended through Tai Po Road Rest Garden. Here, the rambos were treated to a swift, challenging loop before rejoining the wimps.

As the run concluded, the unanimous sentiment was clear: it had been a spectacular evening. But no one appeared as elated as Minja Turtle, who couldn't contain his admiration for the hares. His ringing endorsement - wishing for female-led runs every week - resonated with many.

Congratulations to Cute Boar Butt and Foot Fetish for setting an exciting, challenging, and thoroughly enjoyable trail. The bash that followed was the perfect end to an already splendid evening. Here's to many more runs of such caliber! On On!
