Write-up - Winky Twinkie

It was billed as the best last run of the year. So off to Sai Kung we go in anticipation.

We arrived at the A just in time to get the briefing. There seemed to be some confusion between the hares around check backs and lsw markings eventually the briefing was done and off we all went at 7pm as a pack.

Over the road and we met the first markings on up into the village. The pack arrived at the first check and between us all we managed to solve. So far the markings had been spot on and not like the infamous toliet paper markings.

Up up up we went through the village giving Wincy time to get to know the local wild life while the pack solved the checks. Finally we started to head back down to sai Kung town. However pipe rider and wincy were sent back up hill by trusting a local even through the arrows pointed down.

Back at Sai Kung crossed over and went up past the fire station with a note saying "careful" which was interesting as the road was dead. We reached a check back then found trail up through the shiggy.

We eventually emerged from the trail to a sign saying "actoss" we decided that this was probably "across" so over we went into a garbage dump. After rummaging around and finding no arrows we went back to the road and the actoss sign and realized that true trail was down the road.

We headed down and back to the main road and arrows on home to the yacht club.

Was a truly great run and kept the pack together for the final lsw of 2022

Front runners - Winky Tinky, Pipe Rider, Pole Dancer, Wincy, Octo for running strait across the road as ordered and assuming we run straight and ran into the rubbish dump. The trail was across the road and to the right

LIS - for being around for LSW but leaving for Malaysia the next day... not Vietnam as Octo mistakenly wrote

Screwtop - for marking a strange backward marking then putting a T on it to confuse the latecomers (whom she assumed there weren't any more)

Winky Tinky - for offering to do the write up

Pipe Rider - welcome back

Hares - for thinking nobody else was coming and driving off with bags leaving 2 runners behind

Wincy - for getting excited by all the stray dogs and running towards them while the rest of us were running away from them

Wincy - for seeing the boar and remarking at how cute its butt was (hence Wincy is named Cute Boar Butt)

Hares - great B location for New Years and great choice to let us all choose our own food... we loved it
