Write-up - Lost in Space

Today's hash is advertised as the downhill only hash starting from the squash courts in Admiralty. Hares are Horny Buttstabber and Slippery Banana. I received briefings from both and they were quite different. But the main feature to separate this run from the rest is a ride on the peak tram to the peak to start the run.

Needing all the help I can get I took advantage of the 6pm start along with Freewheel and we made it on to the tram. The advantage faded though as Indy who showed up 15 min. later ended up being on the same tram. So the three of us climbed the hill so high high high from the luxury of our tram seats and wondered if all hashes could start like this.

Reality kicked back in though when we got to the top and could not for the life of us find our way out of the building. After some assistance from many staffers we made our way up the escalator to the ground floor.

Freewheel took the lead by getting the first check correct and not calling it out to leave Indy and I floundering on the wrong trails. Having found the correct trail it was a tour of all of Hong Kong levels top middle and lower. I think some of the homes are celebrity homes. In LA where I am from you can get tours of celebrity houses. As I found out here in HK you can get tours of all the buildings where Sister Farter has shagged in. Something to think about on your next walk in Hong Kong.

So down the various roads and paths to almost sea level. Markings were good and I was assured that if I got lost on this A to B trail I could just contact the LSW group chat. The what? Anyway I found my way to B that is a park in Sheung Wan that has nice showers that stay open till 8:30pm or whenever the caretaker feels like locking them up.

Comes up the Rear - saw me running down Pound Lane, sped up, just to say "I beat Gobi Lo" but he should have ran up to the Peak instead of taking the Peak Tram!

Slippery Banana - thanks to the virgin hare SB for stepping up to set his first run!! And an original one at that!!...

HBS - when he 'volunteered' to help in setting the run with Slippery B, HBS said at the time he was determined to help find a slippery trail for SB !! So with these dry past few days... congratulations!!... the slippery sections were there on Chatham Path... down down down down .

HBS / SB - if it were typical rainy conditions that path would have been perfect.. like a Slippery Banana.. 'dangerously' slippery and mossy the whole way... dooowwwnnnnn!!

Slippery Banana - how many runs have u done with LSW?.. 'not sure!'... well 23 runs and the hare today!!! Happy christening and thanks! !!

HBS - 'how many runs have u done ?'... 'dunno.. 20? 25 ??'...' nope 38 runs with LSW !' 'How many have you hared ??'... 'Dunno... 5 ? '... 'nope 11 !!'That's a ration 1 - 3.5 !! Best ration in LSW !! Congrats!! ...

Freewheel / Lost In Space / Yours truly Indy - never mind the trail.. it took us 20 minutes to get out of the exit of the Peak Tram Shopping Complex!!

HBS / SB - a section of trail set up shiggy steps then over tall railing to the road where yours truly, less than gracefully fell shoulder first onto the road... All the short ones in the circle...

Gorf / Screwtop / Pole Dancer - first lot of runners who went past yt.. Waved at Screwtop but no acknowledgement.. obviously too intent on keeping in Gorf's slipstream and in front of hubby who was chasing her in the middle of the busy road!!!

Dan (the man) / Pipe Rider / Sister Farter - next grouping - hmmm... no immediate 'hello' from PR either as 'intent on trail'... or could have been the torch glare..

Dan - only ever hear of you being called 'son of 4X .. XXXX.. which is a Queensland beer... but your father is from Canberra ?? He should have been called Fosters instead perhaps ?

CUTR- could that be him on trail.. 'walking'?

Pole Dancer - despite protestations about my famous Skittles cake.. FB pic shows pic of giving his son skittles in his b/ day treats..
