Write-up - Blow My T*ts

I arrived at Diamond Hill station on a fine if not rather hot evening looking for markings to A. In fact, I could see A from the mtr exit, a less than salubrious location, an alley between the noise from the overhead highway and the industrial air con from the mall, convenient certainly but lacking... well, seats for a start!

Screwtop and Poledancer are at A when I arrive so we set off together. It's a double edged sword running with S and PD as you know you won't be hanging around, the run won't take forever but at best you'll be playing catch up the entire trail and absolutely exhausted by the end! Off we set, up Fung Tak road passed the nunnery and we have already lost the markings! We hear a call but can't see where from? Ah! Over the road Horny Butt Stabber is calling trail, having spotted 3 headless chickens going over the same ground! Over the road we go to see HBS and Hickey Longstocking go up round the road but the trail heads through the park. I call trail back but seems they don't hear and strangely we don't see them again. Poledancer is now off at pace, calling an ever faint trail, I battle to keep Screwtop in sight - panting, sweating and praying for a difficult open check soon! Up Hammer Hill road we run (fast walk for me) through the cemetery following the trail towards the shiggy and Temple Hill. I hear voices ahead, Freebie, Tight lips and Freewheel are lost at the check having apparently exhausted all options! "Trail" calls PD 30 seconds later, "where" Freebie demands to know - "we have been here 20 minutes". PD wastes no time with an explanation - indeed, what is there to say?? Freebie joins me, PD and S on trail and on to the rambos after the split - but where is Tight Lips on her last run? At least with Freebie I have someone more my pace.

Nice views over Diamond Hill from the catchwater section as the trail now heads back into town. I think the hares took us over every footbridge in the Choi Hung and Diamond Hill area - up steps, over bridge, down steps, run flat 10m back up steps and repeat! I'm feeling dizzy! By now it's just me and Freebie, we miss a couple of vital arrows and end up doing far more steps than required- just when the legs are screaming! Out of nowhere we see Tight Lips ahead - "how did Tight Lips get ahead of us" asks Freebie dismayed? Well, either she opted for the wimps or she was more vigilant and didn't miss those vital arrows?

Soon after, we catch up to Poledancer and Screwtop searching for trail - 5 looking helps and we're quickly off again and on home - me, Freebie and Tight Lips looking like we might just have kept up with Poledancer and Screwtop after all!!

Excellent trail, some shiggy, some urban and of course a million bridges - thanks Hares.

Octo - 'I always wanted to set a run taking in all those adjoining overhead bridges / footbridges in Diamond Hill !!...'...well Octo ! Another of your bucket list wishes fulfilled !! Are you sure engineering would not have been more your forte ??

Junko - Virgin hare... and did she enjoy setting the trail ? 'Yes indeed! And Octo was a great teacher !'

Pole Dancer / Screwtop - did Pole Dancer finally find the washing machine ?? Or were all dirty clothes still in the fridge when u returned ?? He missed you !!

Poon Tong - fab to see you at an LSW run again !! He enjoyed their hash / bash at their place last week... has come back for more 'entertainment'... but...

Non runners - Poon Tong / Sticky Sex Toy... ?? SST drove the whole way from Stanley for the circle and the Octo / Tightlips celebration / farewell...

Hopeless - despite prevailing injury was out on trail.. however back to surgeon the next day to see how his injury is ! Hope all goes well... !

Slippery Banana - out on trail in bare chest ?? Setting a run soon as virgin hare... so thanks heaps !!

Octo - answers to Your LSW hash history ... How many runs with LSW ?? 500... correct !!! Yeah !! When did you start hashing with LSW ? Err... 2009... and month ?? Err Dec... both correct... date ?... no idea... oops !! How many runs hared ?... 45... correct ! Attendance ?? Err 73 %... wrong.. 78 % the second highest attendance for LSW... Well done Octo for your fab contribution to LSW....

Deborah K - attendance record ?? No idea says she.. 79%.. highest attendance rating on LSW !! Keep coming along !!

Tightlips - looking distinctly nervous by now!! Had she done her LSW run history homework ??... so...

How many runs with LSW ?? Answer... 200 maybe ?? Wrong... 520 !!!... only a tad out !! When did you start LSW hash ?? Answer - in 2000 sometime ? Wrong... 29 April 1998 ! How many runs have u hared ??... err 20? Wrong... 40... Attendance record.. NFI.. 39 %... Well done Tightlips !! (Despite not doing your LSW 'history homework'! LSW thanks you for your fab contribution over more than 24 years!!!..... our LSW reps will be visiting / seeing you in Glasgow in the near future !!

And to celebrate / acknowledge the contributions by Octo and TL ... there was the 'infamous skittles cake'.... 'Yummy!! ' says Pole Dancer.... And the bubbles also were burst to celebrate....

Off to Choi Hong for fab bash... with the LSW song sung with gusto by the hares... and Tightlips.. after all she has had 24 years to perfect it !!
