Our afternoon started with anxiously checking the Observatory for T8 news. While wishing the hares remain safe and dry, in the back of our heads we were hoping for a stab at a real T8 T-shirt reward in this run! ?? (dreams beautifully scattered after understanding the rules of a T8 run)

Our run started with a gang of 4 walkers (Foot Fetish, Deborah K, Hickey Long Stocking and Junko) + 1 occasional walker member Freebee (when she is not busying running) from Sai Yin Pun MTR exit C. HLS and Junko happily took the Minja T8 T-shirts out for a spin!

Other than a few occasional gustoes of wind, it didn't quite feel like a typhoon day when we get out of the station. When we arrived at the point A, we bumped into Blow My Tits and our amateur walker Freebee decided it was a day for running with BMT.

We were on our way out following the well marked trail heading towards Bonham Road, Freebee and BMT passed us by in a jiffy faster than the promised typhoon.

We went up by the stairs along Oakland Path - enjoying the city run. Continuing our city run via Breezy Path, we arrived at our first photo spot on Pound Lane. As true walkers, we stayed true to the mission of taking as many tourist photos along the way as possible. FF whistled to a headless naked woman painted on the wall and that moment is forever(end of days or the fall of Apple) documented on various iPhones.

After running around nervously at a couple of open checks, FF wisely designed the human T8 sign and we again took a few photos on the staircases - posing as the T and the 8. HSL and Deborah K had the much easier job of each being a half of a "T". Being a one woman "8" proves FF is as flexible as she is fast.

As promised, a lot of photos - we call ourselves the Wednesday tourist group. ??

The tourists/walkers enjoyed running though Hollywood Road and Seymour Road, waiving at FF's home while passing by. We kept dragging our feet up the endless stairs (by this point no longer running) muttering "where is the top??"

Finally we reached the Po Shan Road open check and spread out in all directions. Our shouts for "trail" were relayed by a good fella training his dog nearby. "Are you a hasher?" we asked. "Not today" he answered a little too cheerfully.

While continuing on Pik Shan Path, FF suddenly said hello to the wilderness. That's how we came to meet her hiking friend Frits the Boar, who she befriended (unilaterally?) on her routine morning run. Subsequently we learnt all the names of her boar friends on various runs. ??

Leaving behind Frits, we pressed on and caught a glimpse of the sea over HKU and the Belcher's. The clouds were moving fast. Come to think of it, broken branches were falling down in places.

Finally we came down to Pok Fu Lam Road and Pipe Rider and Fraisser passed by us. We tried catching up with them by starting to run but lost them soon until everyone got lost midway on Hill Road. Towards the end of the hash, the T8 signal was finally hoisted. We managed to squeeze one foot into a T8 run... barely. We followed the marking to the nice home of the hares where a warm welcome by AB awaited.

Bash was hosted and mead and pizza were shared (by anecdote). Thank you hares for the fantastic run.

Blow My Tits - no way !! That doesn't count !! Elevation from sea level ???.... Well Hollywood Road that is ??

BMT / Freebee - and all those steps up.... Up.. and down..! .. or Down.. then up!!

WC / PT - thanks for the jolly 'hash tour' around the neighbouring flats Yours Truly Indy has lived in...

Gobi Lo / BMT / Rooted / Burning Lust - all lived around this 'hood' at some time ....

Returnees - Rooted / Burning Lust... welcome back to LSW !! Long time...

Gobi Lo / Ivana Nucok / Minja Turtle - all passing Yours truly going up steps with comments like 'Indy, are you doing the trail?' 'Que?'... 'Indy, would you like a tow?'.. 'Hmm.. yes and no!'.. 'Indy.. have some water'.. as water squirted out of water bottle'!!.. such a laugh!!

Poon Tang / Wai Chee - a 'couple' of 'mild disagreements' about markings when setting the run!! Ho hum !!.. but still talking 'nicely' to each other at bash !! ??

Blow My Tits / Oh Sh*t (in absentia) - 'yep !! Also mild marking issues... oh sh*t likes to put the first mark off the check about 5-10 metres away !!!!!... but is great at organising the beers !! ??

Burning Lust - attendees.. BMT / Indy.. would not forget when he set a run for those..... Rooted so unusually p*ssed off with his lack of markings that she stormed off after run to 'cut all his clothes up'..?? well that was the goss at the bash !!..

Barely Legal / Minja Turtle - .. says BL 'I set the run.. and he follows'.... ??Adding a few more markings' says he.. yeh right !!

Pipe Rider / Winkie Twinkie - 'we have no disagreements when setting the run together'... ?? !! will ask u again after Sept 14 hash ??...

Ivana Nucok - sadly ?? it's her final LSW hash / bash before exiting to Budapest Uni for further studies !!

First LSW run - 4 June 2008 No of runs - 184 LSW haring - 24... excellent run to hare ratio 1 : 7.5...

Wai Chee / Po - also leaving HK next month... but are coming back!! Yeh!! Away in UK etc for a couple of months holiday!!

CUTR - late arrival after running in total T8 conditions!... according to HK observatory!! and yet another one who lives around this 'hood'!

Wai Chee / Poon Tang - thanks for setting the most enjoyable LSW T8 hash !! And for such a brilliant bash with copious amounts of bubbles / wines / beers / softies !!
