Another Good Lamma Turn out for LSW.

Despite the rumour that it never rains in Lamma, there was definitely a threat of changing that rumour tonight with the dark clouds & the old spit of rain in the air. The hares had briefed us that they set the trail in flour, chalk & hellbank money. But another Lamma rumour is that there are no rocks on the island (more on that later) but they tried their best to secure the hellbank money. So after a quick chat with the lovely Barbie, we were off.

Instead of going out the usual right hand way, the hares confused us hashers straight off by sending us out to on the left hand side. Crackpot in her usual style heads out 100mph leading the pack to the first check. The trail wound us through the cute wee island villages with enough checks to keep the pack together, taking us along the coastal line & one of Lamma's many beaches, where apparently The Hopeless one waited on my good self but unfortunately he ended saving Crackpot instead.

On to Lung Tsai Tsune village & another small beach area with more checks to keep us together and onto the split. Indecisive on W / R.. Crackpot & I opted for R with the reasoning of more calorie burning means more beer drinking. Up onto the contour trails (sorry no idea of the area), myself, Pig Fokker & Screwtop ran most of the trails together. PF & I must have slipped or tripped over every rock on this trail so the rumour of no rocks in Lamma is debatable - we have the bruises to prove our theory!

At around 5.5km mark, we started to head back towards A through Tai Wan Kau Tsuen where a tricky left hand turned brought the pack back together then onto Sha Po Old Village & back to A.

Really enjoyable run, actually it may be my fav Lamma run so far… thanks to the hares.

Lots of cold beers & fab pizza were consumed before the circle.

Thanks a lot to the hares for a really good LSW Night.

The song was song badly on the boat with more beers.
