It was also the start of Wednesday's run. We normally start right outside their front door at the refuse bins/ventilation shaft, but 'cos of a chance of rain we moved up the steps to the covered landing. So the hare AFWD set us off back down the steps to do the zig zag street run through to the Methodist church with several check backs thrown in around the Kiangsu Chekiang School. Up over Cloudview Rd and Wai Tsui Crescent then up the riverbed shiggy to the check coming out at the top of Braemar Hill Rd. Up onto the Sir Cecil's contour trail running above the St Joan of Arc school. The hare's instructions were to just stay on that trail for the Rambo's run as there would be no more markings until the rejoin, but some enterprising people started doing their own checks and found some old markings and they got back after everyone else had finished. For the more attentive runners we came off Sir Cecil's through Wiltshire Towers and down the steps across Pak Fuk Rd and on home back to A. Good run. Off the the Vietnamese which was excellent and plentiful. Down Downs by Indy plus others... The Hare - Any Fanny'll Do.... Great run!! Enjoyed by all who returned to A at different times.... with differing stories.... AFWD - And what happened to the Rambo markings?.... Longhorn - a victim of the 'lost trail'.... back to A laughing (after a few mins...!).. 'Twas a miracle that I made it back to A!!'...!! Comes Up The Rear ~ AFWD - starting run from different place to 'normal'..... having to hike up all those steps to get to A.. Dame Invader / CUTR - Racing back to A to be the 'winner'! DI ~ CUTR - Blind as a bat hasher.... Took everyone on trail on the wrong side of the tree, leading all astray and lost in the shiggy DI ~ O'Bollocks ~ refused to believe CUTR was going the wrong way so followed him to the start of the shiggy DI ~ CUTR - Then how did you finally manage to figure out the right way? OB ~ DI - copying OB's every step but not checking the check! OB ~ Marcel - broke tree 'over' DI.... OB had to climb over.... Shorthorn - no calling to FRB's..... Tightlips ~ AFWD - a challenging trail to get back to the contour Tightlips - problem with her Scottish English? (or something like that.....).. Screwtop ~ Longhorn - Current RA of Kowloon hash... She guided him home.... Screwtop ~ both Horns... Long and Short - though both pilots have no sense of direction! S ~ Longhorn - put hand in wrong place while Screwtop was bending under a tree..... Timbits - brave person who did the Wimps and 'won' the hash... Timbits - rush to get back to A to 'look forward' to his conference call.... Marcel - freaked out at no markings on the Rambo trail though so many warnings of no markings.... AFWD ~ hashers - 'had warned you all.....!' OB - great to see you AGAIN at LSW...... becoming a 'good habit'!!....... as he tries to guess what is on the back of yours truly's notepaper! AFWD / Timbits / OB / Bubbles - when one engineer drinks, all engineers.... Returnees - Longhorn / Shorthorn... always a pleasure to see you at LSW... Marcel / LH / SH - when one pilot drinks... all pilots.... The Aussies - LH / SH / Octo / Indy AFWD - the hare been hashing with LSW since 2000.... but last week could not quite remember!! Bubbledock - been hashing with LSW since 1988,.. with MM still in HK he has not been hashing (with LSW) in HK for the longest time...... OB - An English kid asking him what he was doing ?? like running? following markings? Running at nighttime?? AFWD - Thanks for a such an interesting trail... and brilliant yummy basho...... And the song was sung by AFWD along with the other 20 years and over of LSW hashing... Tightlips / Bibbledock! 7.08km 66mins
