Kennedy Town Hares - Wai Chee, Po BMT FB photos It was all quiet on the website until Tuesday evening when we were told it would be Kennedy town start A to A with hares WCK and PT. I was surprised to see that the hare was WCK as she has been posting lovely photos on Facebook of her holiday so wondered if she would be back in time! Is it Deja vu with me doing a write up, no, it's not. It's only a month since I last did one but getting my run count in before the end of the year, since the hare line looked more like a bareline. Thankfully Cheesy has also signed up again so it's looking better for October but think there might still be a gap if anyone is free. Hope that helps me get in Hopeless and Indi's good books! Normal bucket that most are used to out of exit C so don't think there were issues getting there apart from Octopussy who was latecomer. The briefing was a little concerning since Kowloon hash had set a run here on Monday. "Welcome to run no 2243" oh no its not! "I think we have crossed out all their checks or put LSW in but if you see 3 K on a row, you are on the wrong trail". Quite artistic how they changed the K to an L for LSW so made up a little for that but still Oh dear, how is this going to go. No wimps/Rambos today, short and long Set off through Kennedy and up past Lo Pan temple and into Lung Fu Shan Country Park. A few checks but the group separated quite quickly so I can't comment on all attendees. However, Octopussy soon caught me up and I was glad she was behind me at a couple of points as I knew she wouldn't make any rude comments on us climbing through and over railings, there is no ladylike way of doing this! I followed Pig Fokker for a while uphill but as soon as there was a downhill trail, he was off into the night. I did keep hearing Rooted calling out for a while, thanks for that Rooted, but she obviously got her mojo back after running a race yesterday and then the Ladies family hash and her callings soon faded. I saw Burning Lust for a split second as he and someone else obviously took a check wrong but then I was on my own for a while. Thankfully the markings were good, occasionally minimalistic like last week but not very often searching for trail. On down to Pokfulam road and was tempting to short cut but the trail lead over to Mt Davis road and then on on to Mt Davis trail. Caught up to Anal Invitation who was a bit dubious about being on trail and let me check-up hill, so gracious of him. At this point I caught up to Lost in Space and then later Castrato who wasn't convinced we were on LSW trail as we saw 1 arrow with a K but then loads of chalk markings. Thankfully not much further down the trail we saw LSW and we were off again down down and then on the road back to A. Don't think there were any sightings of snakes, but then Lost in Translation was on the short run with Hopeless and Blow My Tits so I wouldn't have heard her yells..... going for a celebratory meal out with birthday boy Hopeless so didn't want to do the long run. Great that Hopeless rose to the occasion and came as a king wearing his crown and Indi saying she was going to make him a cake..... we can all say we were going to do that Indi!!!! Think Hopeless was quietly pleased as he was worried he'd get a skittles cake! Down Downs by Indy Apris run - Hopeless - HAPPY BIRTHDAY 2 U!!!!! and the hash song continued.... 'why was he born so beautiful?........ why was he born at all?? .............................. Lost in Translation singing with gusto,,,,,'!! Hopeless - presented with a 'bottle' from LSW to celebrate the occasion.... his birth!! Hopeless - has set 140 runs for LSW and done 961 runs!! Next few few few few pings on the fridge will be when he is hare for 150 runs and does 1000 runs!!!!...... 'Ping Ping Ping Ping Ping Ping Ping Ping Ping Ping.......!!' goes the fridge!! ....watch the run reports / Hareline for updates !! Lost In Translation - has lots of free time for the next few 39 weeks!!!!! 'Yeh' says she! And then at the bash...... the hares - Wai Chee Kok / Poon Tang - what did we think of the run?? 'you mean the sl*t run???' 'Pardon?.... was that the sl*t or sl*t run???' Lost In Space - Not enough sl*ts... WCK/Po - such an eventful and great run!!!...... and so many innuendoes (for the whole DDs) about sl*ts and sl*ts that cannot all be repeated for fear of offending!! Returnee - Castrato from UK..... Yeh!!! Ab Fab to see you back in HK!!! 'Btw would u like to set a run whilst here?'.... Ha Ha.... Returnee - Cupid Stunt - fab to 'see' you back at LSW Cupid - typically wearing his glasses at the back of his head.... his reason... ' So he can see the sl*ts from behind!!......" Rooted - Why is she wearing that head piece that covers her whole 'hair' on the run? Latest fashion? Loss of hair? Illness?.... nope... just had not brought her headband...... Cupid S - Says there were not enough 'virginal sl*ts' on the run!! (I did warn you that the S and S innuendoes went on throughout the DDs... Castrato - 'felt like a rebirth when you came out of the sl*t'!!" Blow My Tits - went under the sl*t .... says that Hopeless was holding the sl*t open for her whilst she went 'under'!... (Oh and she added 'Please exclude Oh Sh*t from the this run report!!!) Burning Lust - was the second runner to get to the sl*T!! An*l was there but there was no way that An*l could get into/under the sl*t without help..... Those who went THROUGH the sl*t - LIS / Castrato / Cupid S / Rooted / Octo / BL / CUTR Those who went UNDER the sl*t - Blow My T........ LIT - (in absentia) - snake report....... screamed at Rat Snake on trail...,, Ooops.... Politics - cannot talk to US folks (Lost In Space), UK citizens (Castrato / BL / Rooted / Po ), HK / UK (Wai Chee ), Canadians (Comes Up the Rear / Cupid S ....) Aussies - Octo / Indy.... Can always talk to us ....!!! CUTR - something about the Germans and 1947 ?? or 69?? or 69 years ago??? Memory got a bit hazy there.....was too derailed thinking about the numbers....??? Castrato - buying Tsing Tao bottles for table when beers under the table for hashers to buy.... WCK / Po - thanks for such an eventful 'sl*t and sl*t run!!! MUST make this an annual event!!
