Bobbledick's birthday Pack LIT FB photos Bob's birthday run, 72 years old and would it be 72 year old Smarties on his birthday cake later on?! Well a quality pack of10 plus the hare came for the occasion at Pak Sha Wan near Hebe Haven Yacht Club. Could it be a typical 4 hour special or something more reasonable from this veteran ? Pack was briefed to a “well set, some contour section not marked and not too long”...... and off we went, as usual, past PCTs gaff and right, Lost In Translation nailing the first three Checks. Then confusion as the trail path met tarmac. An arrow W. Had we missed the split ? Hopeless and Breon searching everywhere but no R so off on the Wimps. (When we got back the hare helpfully told us he didn't mark a Rambo there as he couldn't find a way through and couldn't be bothered crossing off the W!). Check on the road Into shiggy, out, through villages and then the real split. With real intense shiggy. With hell bank notes the hare also forgot to tell us about. PCT leading with local knowledge leaving the likes of Screwtop and Blow My Tits to scramble behind in the woods. Back to tarmac and the run in along Hiram’s Highway, passing a late Gin n Vomit running in the opposite direction. Good trail, plenty of shiggy and not 4 hours, thanks Bob! Down Downs by Indy The hare - Bubbledock .....thanks for an interesting, memorable run!! BD - 5 hours of reccying on Tuesday, 4 hours of laying trail before the run!....with virgin trails! BD - 'Indy, you would not believe how things have changed in the back of Pak Sha Wan since I last laid trail there......so much construction work!! They have put a house in the middle of my trail...!!' Blow My Tits (in absentia) - had quipped very amusingly... ' So BD, did you lay the trail through the house? ....like don't mind us we are just following a hash trail through your house!! '... BD - 'There is a nice contour path......that has no marking till the end as I was trying to lay the first Rambo trail.....' Hopeless - 'Would that be the phantom R1 trail?' Yours truly Indy to self - Went round the 'village' on hill twice not finding flour on the trail........second time coming across Octo... Octo - found her wandering around the dirt contour trail too and thankfully found the way off the loop.. Rambo hashers (R2) - Lost In Translation / Princess C*ck Tosser / Hopeless PCT - Was an FRB at times running with Cheesy!! Octo / Sticky S*x Toy - found their way around R/W trail and up the pipeline.... Tight Lips - arrived late so did own version of hash trail..sometimes on, sometimes off......local knowledge!! Bubbles - It's his 72nd birthday!! Yeh!!! Ist time it has been on a Wednesday for 30 years!!! Babbledock - What impressive photos of 30 years ago!!.....What a handsome young man!! With all that dark hair and dark bushy eyebrows........and all the gals flocking around! Sai Kung environs hashers - LIT / Hopeless / Tight Lips / PCT / SST ....ish / Indy Octo - coming from HK island for hash and bash!!...(in absentia from bash ..Blow My Tits / Screwtop / CCF) Bubbles - choosing the 'atmospheric dai pai dong' rather than yacht club as can have more raucous fun to celebrate his birthday!! Happy Birthday BD - and here is the infamous ' Skittles cake!!' Bibbledock - had preordered..'Indy, can the cake have real fresh Smarties on it this year, instead of those stale ones (Skittles!)?'
