Wan Chai Park Hares - Dogshit & Hopeless LIT FB photos Pack – Lost in Translation, Hopeless, AFWD, Crackpot, Poledancer, Screwtop, Blow My Tits, CUTR, Octo, Anal, Eat My Pussy, Kannot Finnish, WCK & Telecum Now I know most Hong Kong Parks do not allow dogs in but this was taking it to extreme with tonight’s hare absent and only a ‘Hopeless’ assistant to give us the briefing. A small, cold but enthusiastic pack assembled in the Dog Free Wan Chai Park, ready to burn off those extra Christmas lbs. The Hopeless assistant eagerly awaiting Telecum to relieve him of bag watching duties, gives the pack the briefing of W – 6.5km with 350m elevation and R – 7km with 550km... well we did want to burn those lbs off ! Crackpot in her usual style, off at 100mph, leads the pack out the park & over the bridge onto our first Check where the ONON was to be found up right past the crazy toilet then up right over the fallen trees then under the fallen trees, along Shui Fai Terrace then left up onto Bowen Road. The next Check was solved by CUTR and at this point I would like to thank Octo for her Christmas present to CUTR ‘A Voice’. He was calling ‘Trail’ so loud even Hopeless, who was literally coming up the rear, could hear him from SF Terrace. Onto Lover’s Rock & up the shiggy to Stubbs, Rd where the hare took us on a crazy climb up tree roots, a narrow catch water, shiggy then down steps to literally join back onto Stubbs Rd... WTF? I can guarantee there was some short cutting going on here. The trail then took us Mount Nicolson Road, then up some more shiggy to Black’s Link to the split.. so big decision time... more shiggy & more elevation or take the easy option. Thinking of additional gained lbs, I opted for R along with Blow My Tits & Poledancer while The Hopeless assistant heads for Wimps, with Screwtop in tow. As Poledancer passes us, BMT & I agreed to stick together through the shiggy and there was a lot of shiggy, oh yeah and a lot of elevation but together we conquered Mount Cameron and skied our way down the bamboo section back onto Black’s Link to the re-join, then the knee busting finish down Wan Chai Gap Road and back to A. Thanks DS, a good variety of a hash. Circle in the Dog Free Park by Hopeless then onto the bash... the fabulous 369 where the Hopeless assistant did a grand job of feeding us with enough dumplings to put those lbs straight back on, lots of cold beer and wine. And if that wasn’t enough, 4 of us OnOnOn’d at the QV... so much for dry January. Down Downs by Hopeless The hare – Hopeless drinks for Dogshit and himself.
