Lam Tin Lubricated Trojan and Come Into My Tunnel's leaving run LiT FB photos here Sad days – hash couple Lubricated Trojan and Come Into My Tunnel (CIMT) are leaving Hong Kong, and this was their last LSWH3 set in one of their favourite venues – Lam Tin Park. Appropriate location for a hasher with “Tunnel” in their name because this is precisely what the venue was like – a WIND Tunnel! Winter closing in, temperatures dipping and early purchase of the black long sleeve (cotton) 2200 shirts were in order. Good sized pack of 23 plus the two departing hares braved the conditions, hares sending us out on “the usual 2km path” (past the showers after about 1m) and a CB in the park to heed up the metal steps towards Black Hill. Up to the 3 way Check near O King Road, and not over the top, but the middle option on the tarmac track. Trail came bac onto the ridge with Jonathan, PCT and Screwtop amongst the early arrivals at the Check on the ridge, and.. up again! Onto the W/R split, Rambos heading back down to the contour and then back up past the fort to join the Wimps again on the ridge, for a run down towards TK tunnel. Here a simple left turn and along the contour, Denvy leading in the Wimps, and Cheesy, Jonathan and Lost I Translation edging the Rambo pack who all came in bunched up shortly afterwards. Well marked trail, even more elevation than GG’s notorious Tung Chung run, but a smiling pack of about 20 that headed onto the nearby/usual Chinese restaurant. Good food at a reasonable price, although some feedback on (over)charging of a couple of 7-11 bottles of wine were noted by some on one the tables. Down Downs by Indy Welcome to run 2199!! Yours Truly (Indy) - missed the Walkers sign so ended up doing the whole wimps trail after doing the never-ending Up Up Up and Up! (gotta get my eyesight checked!) LT - had said... it is an 'easy trail' except for the ladder section.... apart from that there is NO problem....... (Yeh right!!) Lost In Space - It is LSW.... what less do you expect?? CIMT / LT - their leaving run !! Boo Hoo..... but off to the penal colony of Aussie.... and Melbourne! CIMT /LT - Crimes and Punishment.... what wrong had they done to get entry there..... Could it be that ... CIMT / LT - enjoy a vegemite sandwich which you will need to get used to! Crackpot - enjoyed her vegemite sandwich so much!!! not!! The Aussies - Octopussy / Jonathon / Indy / CIMT / LT Jonathon - don't recognise him any more with that Robinson Crusoe beard...... Jonathon / Hopeless - It's no longer Movember..... time to shave??
