North Point Hare - Any Fanny'll Do LiT FB photos here Thanks to our emergency hare, AFWD for stepping in and setting tonight's fab trail. The start was at 'North Point's largest ashtray' area bringing out a number of returnee's including Lost in Space, Comes in my tunnel & Lubricated Trojan along with some virgins and the usual suspects made up a good size pack. As we inhaled the local's cigarette smoke, AFWD gave the pack a very self appraised (much deserved) briefing with lots of checks and check backs to keep the pack together and he was absolutely sure we would enjoy his run.... A few chesty coughs and we were off through North Points delightful alley ways with Rooted and Octo leading the back until Cheesy lives up to his name and comes flying past us but as promised by the hare, there are check backs which CFF discovered too soon. However Mr Local Knowledge, the Hopeless one was not fooled at all by this CB and was already leading the pack to his famous check which takes us through the Monastery / Temple and onto the rocky / sh1tty / uneven ground as mentioned in the briefing. As Blow my Tits & I struggle up the slippery trail, Comes in my Tunnel did not know if he was allowed to help us damsels in distress by shoving our ar$es up and out of the way to allow him to pass. However he is either a gentleman or just to damn scared to touch our ar$es and stayed a safe distance behind us. Up to Po Luen Path and onto Braemar Hill ..my favorite HK running trail. However... I did start to mentally curse AFWD, as I am next weeks hare, setting in Braemar Hill, I was apprehensive as to where AFWD was taking us. The check on the contour path was not marked, so Rooted took the hard way up, I went left and JC took right but it was not long before Rooted called us up and over, then left for a long enjoyable stretch. Next check took us up to the pagoda then right onto Sir Cecil's Ride and a long to the R/W split. W straight on and R up and over the shiggy and down the long set of steps. Down the shiggy path to Braemar Hill Playground (next weeks 'A') and back to Tin Hau Temple Rd, onto the steps and back to A ! Really enjoyable run, thanks to AFWD. OnOn to the usual fab Vietnamise Restaurant for fab food, cold beers, boring politics (thankfully Indy not on my table) and loud but great fun circle. Thanks again AFWD for looking after the pain in the ar$e foodies, much appreciated. OnOn to Braemar Hill (again!) Down Downs by Indy The Hare - Any Fanny'll Do....... Hailed by all as a fab run!!! Lost In Space - reminds us that for 'Thanksgiving' there is a US warship in town 'The Ronald Reagan'... so go check it out!'
