The run

'A' was not at the usual Tsing Yi Park, and a fair walk from the MTR. I doubt we'll ever know if everybody found it. Thermal Deck's briefing included an ominous warning about another set of hash markings out there, and an explanation in Scotteribberish about what he'd done to prevent us going wrong, but only LIT understood him.

The run started with an early check which took a couple of minutes to solve. I don't know who solved it as everybody had disappeared when I returned from my searching. After some weaving through the busy streets, we hit a Wimp/Rambo markings, and followed one trail before deciding the markings looked too foreign, so a rude message was left for N2TH3 and with the pack now together we went off another way. (I checked later and it wasn't N2TH3; maybe KH3?) Trail went up a slope that had been discounted by Screwtop as far too steep to even consider. Shockingly his 30meter section was the only shiggy on a Thermal trail.

Through the old village, and along to the steps all the way to first peak of Sam Chi Heung with Cheesy leading, chased by Rooted and ComesUpTheRear. Trail continued towards the next peak while I decided this must be the 'F'ing Checkback we'd been promised so turned left downhill. Rooted later screamed something at me for this; I didn't quite catch the words but it must have been a compliment about my intelligent prediction skills.

At the next check we managed to lose the Cheesy Flying Fox for once, as he checked the wrong side of the hill and he complained he didn't hear ComesUpTheRear's usual tremendous roar of an OnOn call! Down the steps, and back to B.

The Bash

Good food, ordered by WCK.

There were several down-downs, including thanks to the hare and no thanks for the hare for all the steps. I recorded it if anyone wants to relive it in full.

The usual song followed in a Chipmunk style.
