Yung Shue Wan, Lamma Hares - Macau Drunk, Barbie LIT FB photos here With Brother Anus absconded to Bangkok (some may say to avert doing his write up duty) I, as next week's co-hare, had to pick up his debris. The Pack: LIT, Hopeless, FRB Lemon Drop, Gobi Lo, Octo, Hannah Montana, Pole Dancer, Pig Fukker, Free Wheel, Rooted, Gill, Indy, Lubricated Trojan, Comes in my Tunnel, Haggis, Rawhide, WKC, BL, OD & her pal, Screwtop, Little Sai W long term Returnee's Bite & Suck & Pricilla. For those that have jobs and in much need of cheap booze found ourselves on the 18.20 Cruise Ship to Lamma where apparently it doesn't rain unlike the rest of HK for the last how many weeks... when will it stop? Our hare had explained on FB that it only drizzles in Lamma, not real rain, not manly rain however once we disembarked the cruise at Lamma dock, it was like a Scottish dark, wet winter night (just not -10degrees) Surprisingly the arrow's to A were still visible, even after all that drizzle, so via the cheap booze shops, we made it to A where returnee FRB Lemon Drop was more than enthusiastic to get on trail. The briefing started around 18.47 and finished around 19.13 and yet some hashers still got confused on trail !! Once the hashers that have proper jobs arrived after 7 (which included Indy who doesn't work and needed more vodka buying time) we were off on our 8km trail of paper, flour and lucky if you see chalk due to the Lamma drizzle ! The trail took us back out the way we came towards the ferry pier, up the first of many steep, slippery (due to drizzle) slopes and onto the first check which took us further up the steep climb. The first 2km wound us through villages with enough checks and T's (3 lines check back, 2 lines T... who was not listening to the briefing) to keep the pack together before we eventually found the shiggy trail off the check back. Pig Fukker lead the pack, sliding through the dense shiggy and I wondered if this is the part the hare got a wee bit lost and thought 'F**k it, keep going' as this was not a trail as such but a battle of pricks and bush !!! : ) Eventually we came to an opening where we could actually see our feet and onto a check with BL going right and PG going left. Stupidly Rooted & I followed PF... big mistake! This was the long check the hare warned us about. So we about turn and all the way back to the check allowing the rest of the pack to catchup then onto extra slippery up hill section and even more slippery, due to the drizzle, downhill section where Rooted & I were over cautious unlike Gobi Lo and Comes in my Tunnel who flew past us. Once out of this section, the trail took us left but then we ran out of trail which allowed us to catch up with FRB's. Eventually trail was called and on up the hill, then down the hill and once again lost trail. WCK, CIMT, PD & I were all over the place trying to find trail then eventually I found an arrow which was slightly washed out with all the drizzle, pointing us left and back on trail through the villages, heading back to the ferry port which stupidly I ran to instead of going to A.. duh ! Really good, wet and slippery trail ! Well done the hares, the trail was still visible even after all the drizzle ! OnOn to the tasty Indian followed by quick DD's by Indy (ano - unbelievably quick !) and then 10.30 ferry home with no more DD's and NO SONG!!!! Thanks to the hares ! OnOn to HH Village with return of Brother Anus & LIT.

MD - says he was lucky that Lamma did not get swamped by the torrential rain like most of HK! Lamma is a tropical paradise!! Welcome back!! first LSW run 21 June 2006..... 123 runs!!... hared 15 Priscilla - not been to Lamma for 10 years!!
