A - B? Yacht Club The Briefing - So long, no one listened …. So we set off, A was the first open check with a confident (or smug shall we say) Hopeless took left, where myself & Rooted thought how could go left when the hare came in finishing from that direction.. so had we actually listened to the briefing we would have know it was a lollipop run.? So? Rooted & I? got it wrong and about turned when we were called OnOn.? I think it was at this point in the run GG was FRB (for all of 5 seconds but he was very proud of these 5 seconds) until GL whizzed past taking her usual FRB position.? The trail took us along the waterfront then a few tricky checks in CWB brought the pack back together again before the long ascent up Fortress Hill Road then a sprint down to Tin Hau Temple.? With Hopeless in view, Comes in my Tunnel & I stopped looking for markings and just followed the '800 run shirt' in the distance not realising Mr 899 Runs was not actually on trail so we about turned and found trail going through Victoria park only to discover an OnOn going in the wrong direction, so about turn we go again and pick up trail where Hopeless was heading the first time.? Zig Zagging through Victoria Park following flour and arrows with H through them, we come to the bridge which took the wimps straight home.? Mr 899 Runs opted for W and for a split second I was going to follow but realised there was another 30 mins left of the sampan so I followed GL on the R trail which was another loop round Vic Park.? Passing the chatting and walking GG & Brv Anus, Rooted and I finish the run and opted for the breeze of the sampan to the finish where CIMT opted for double rambos and ran to the YC. As the hare promised, a good summer run, short enough to let everyone enjoy the showers and the magnificent curry buffet with wine and beers. Thank very much to the hare, good run and great Bash. (and when 1 Anus drinks.....) Jonathan - Making the mistake of asking Hopeless for advice on where to buy trail shoes and receiving a 4 page essay as a result Indy's Down downs Bobbledick - Congrats on 900+ runs Hopeless - Spitting feathers not to be first Hopeless & Bob - who will get to 1000 first...?
