Tsim Sha Tsui Hares - Lubricated Trojan, Come into my Tunnel LIT FB pics here, and Octo's here Expectations: An urban run was promised by the hares.... that was just the long slog through TST MTR to Exit N2! Location: Wind tunnel of TST The Pack: Lost in Translation, Hopeless, Gobi Lo, Pig Fokker, Freewheel, Wai Chee KoK, Burning Lust, Cheesy, Frank the Plank, Sex Gone Too Far, Octo, Screwtop, Comes up the Rear and Limp-along-Thermal Dick. Lubricated Trojan/Hare/Mum and her two wee cuties, no, not Comes in my tunnel as apparently the main hare/boss had sent him back out to remark round TST due to crap weather conditions today. So the cold, pack gather round for the briefing by Oscar with his scribbles of chalk on the ground and we were off through 'the usual alley way' called by Hopeless. A few of the smart arse hashers thought they knew where the trail would take us however the cunning hares with their open checks and check backs had us guessing all through TST, battling our way through the crowds but eventually the streets got quieter as Gobi Lo out in front runs past 'the usual park' called by Hopeless, down the main road to the big CB. Sigh... she should have went with her instincts and gone through the park where true trail was. Through the park, past the hospital (I think it is) and onto W/R split. So trying to keep up with FRB's on R trail, the hares did a great job on the checks and check backs as for a while I was not too far behind them and due to WCK on the open check, I managed to stay with them until a long slog along the road but me and my 'so called buddy' Pig Fokker ran together, keeping each other on trail, passing Freewheel at the re-join then onto the check back past the lift (ELEVEN). So thank you FRB's for NOT marking the CB! So my so called buddy and I get in the lift and I am trying to amuse him with ELEVEN but way over his head... but the rest of you get it right...? Anyway out the lift and on we go, through the back of an Industrial Estate, up the steps and onto the water front where the markings started to get a bit scarce probably due to the weather and the fun police ! So my so called buddy & I enjoying the water front run towards home as we pass Limp-along-Thermal & Screwtop on the Wimps but we ran out of markings but I kept running thinking I knew (roughly) where to go but then as I turn round, I see my so called buddy and my fellow Scots man had deserted me after finding trail and not calling me back :( So I head back and catch them up to thank them for being such gentlemen! Actually there were no markings but Limp-along knew how to get us back to the dazzling home of the hares. Back at A, cold beers and fabulous hot showers - ask Comes Up The Rear... ! 30 mins that dude was in there, I know its his birthday but jeezo that was along shower and we thought Octo was long in the shower..! Great 11km (for me) urban run by the hares, well-marked in the crap weather conditions. OnOn to Thai place with $5 bottles of Chang beer - FACT !! Oh . PS.... A wee bird tells me the girls came in first after doing true trail !!! Just saying...
