Quarry Bay Park II
The Big 5 - 0
Hares - Hopeless, Lost in Translation

It is a auspicious day that over 50 hashers convened at the Quarry Bay Park for the advertised "4pm" start (Dr. Evil please be punctual next time although you're as if it's the regular 7pm start :p) Birthday boy Hopeless led the pack dilightly setting a run with 3 rambos and wimps splits to cater for all possible tastes of the huge number of hashers from Ladies hash, Southside, Wanchai, none-the-less the LSW.

Leaving the park and passing the Java road playground, there's a usual checks to the footbridge over King's road, one must choose either running left towards Taikoo or thinking the way up from the Healthy village?!

Finally trail went up the Mansion street to a back alley surprising that there's a slow steep incline a metal ladder. Helping by the rope so one must patiently queuing up for the climb up. That cunning stunt led the splinter pack left off after reaching Pak Fung Road. According to the briefing that wimps follow the blue arrow, so the packs diverge with the wimps going down while the rambos running hard up the maintenance retaining wall. The FRBs lost the trail around the area but fortunately saved by the virgin hasher :p Follow the service path and woods leading down under the road and up up up back to the known territory Tin Hau Temple road ^_^

Obviously go up Po Luen Path towards Braemar Hill!

The checksback at the Sir Cecil's Ride bring the FRBs back. As remember there's a shiggy trail just in front of the junction..... Bingo! Cheers for "Trail"

No shiggy?! Of coz not, that's definitely an eroded gulley and wonderful scramble trail! Dare the two young boy hashers, they brave to have a try!

The packs rejoined and all along Sir Cecil's Ride and Mount Paker road pushing hard until a turn into the Quarry Bay Tree Walk. With several checks then running via the river bed down the Mount Paker Lodge.

On Home sprinting along Quarry Bay street, King's road and Finnie street.... Excellent run and a good start of the birthday's hare! Brilliant work Hopeless and Lost in Translation!
