13 unemployed runners turned up at the unfeasibly early start of 4.00 pm (egad, that's returning to the colonial era when civil servants clocked out in the mid afternoon...) for a do it yourself hash kindly arranged by Van Shagger. 3 taxis set out to Repulse Bay after an agonising debate whether we should go to meet Bobbledick in Stanley. After 2 seconds agonising deliberation the pack decided against on the basis that Bobbledick would be unlikely to wait in any event.

At Repulse Bay the instructions were to make one's way back to Philippe and Natalie's in Seymour Terrace. It was rather like homing pigeon racing. predictably some of the pigeons released were quicker than others. Hopeless no doubt displaying his competitive instinct and Phi;ippe (who knew the way back home - as indeed he should) led the way, whilst Boilers, Tara and Sophie took a more leisurely approach and arrived some hours later- homing instincts obviously faulty.

At the Seymour Terrace roost, Natalie as mother pigeon was on hand to welcome all with smiles and glasses of fizzy stuff on the roof. Those that dashed off early missed the exquisite chocolate quiche....(not to be confused of course with our own chocolate Kish).

Thanks hares and hosts. Good effort all.No down - downs
